William Moorcroft 'Wisteria' Dish c1920
A lovely shallow bowl beautifully decorated in the 'Wisteria' pattern. Fine tube lining and rich colours on a deep cobalt blue ground, the rim in a paler smoky blue which is quite unusual for this design. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Mild age related crazing, typical of these wares and nothing to detract from this stunning example. Impressed MOORCROFT with William's signed initials in blue. Diameter 18.25cm (7.1in)
