Information
A superb Pomegranate baluster vase with hammer finished pewter rim. The largest of three sizes produced in this shape, it's beautifully decorated with four pomegranates (two open) among masses of berries on a lovely ochre ground at the top and a deep cobalt blue around the base. The fine tube lining and rich colours work well on this early piece. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. The pewter rim with original patination. Impressed MOORCROFT with William's initials painted in blue. Height 17.75cm (7in)
