Wileman early Shelley 'Little Boy Blue' Child's Nursery Ware Mug c1902

A charming bone china child's mug printed and hand painted with the nursery rhyme Little Boy Blue. He stands blowing his horn in a corn field with sheep, rabbits and a cow. The reverse is printed in sepia with an unusual variation of the standard rhyme. In great condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Wileman Foley China England monogram with design Registration Number 397891 for 1902. Height 8cm (3.1in)
