An unusual Wemyss May shape vase beautifully decorated with cabbage roses on a black background by Karel Nekola. In great condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. May vases are quite difficult to find, as are roses on a black ground painted by the master himself. 'Wemyss' Karel Nekola inscription in black and impressed WEMYSS. Height 16.5cm (6.5in)
