A fine Royal Doulton Dickens 'A' Series tankard designed by Charles Noke. Depicting Mr. Micawber from 'David Copperfield'. It's in excellent condition - not even crazed. A great example of this very collectable series. Noke signature to the front. Royal Doulton backstamp with special Dickensware mark and the pattern number D6327 (1948/49). Produced only a couple of years before this series was more or less discontinued in 1951. Height 12.5cm (4.9in)
