A fine Victorian majolica rustic egg frame with a rope twist handle and basket weave base. The rim of each egg holder is lined with a lovely cobalt blue which highlights the other natural coloured glazes. In good vintage condition; no chips, cracks or repairs. Green 'tortoise shell' interior. An unusual and attractive item. Unmarked but probably English. Width 17.75cm (7in)
