A superb 19th century majolica jug crisply moulded as corn on the cob with original pewter mounted lid. Clear, bright colours with a fine metallic glaze and lovely pink/lavender glazed interior. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration - rare to find in such good order. Impressed workman's mark, probably Staffordshire in origin. Height with lid 19.75cm (7.75in)
