A fine overlapping begonia leaf majolica plate, reflecting the Victorian love of foliage plants, especially ferns and begonias. Nicely painted in strong colours; a good example of these very collectable plates. No chips, cracks or restoration, with the usual kiln and stilt marks. Probably of Scottish origin. Diameter 21cm (8.25in)
