An early Wemyss octagonal pen tray painted with Iznik inspired motifs. Lovely colours often seen on hand painted Turkish tiles. Quite a departure from the flora and fauna usually associated with Wemyss. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration. Impressed WEMYSS WARE RH&S and printed oval Thomas Goode retailer's mark. Length 24cm (9.5in)
