Unusual 'Trumpet Flower and Vine' twin handled Majolica Dish c1880

A lovely majolica footed dish in a design of knotted vine handles with leaves and trumpet flowers (marrow?) forming the interior. A large, colourful item with vivid yellow, turquoise, pink and green making this a very stunning example; the handles in the form of twisted vines being a nice feature. In great condition, no chips, cracks or repairs, though there are some minor signs of wear to the central raised flowers - nothing drastic and I feel only adds character and doesn't compromise the rustic display qualities or value of this superb piece. The reverse has a lovely tortoishell glaze. Length (handle to handle) 27.25cm (10.75in)
