An unusual 'small' size Water Lily plate, the rich green leaves surrounding a central white flower. The colours are strong and the modelling is crisp with a mottled tortoiseshell reverse. In great condition (slight glaze fritting to flower petal - see image 3); no cracks or restoration. Rare to find in such good order and in this size. Unmarked though occasionally found with impressed mark Adams and Bromley (Hanley 1873-1886). Diameter 19.75cm (7.75in)
