A rare and unusual Shorter matte glazed vase. Triangular in shape with embossed leaves and flowers enamelled in pink, mauve and yellow on a turquoise ground; a good and impressive example of art deco design. In excellent condition, with the usual small patches of uncoloured glaze on the inside rim. Stamped and impressed 'Shorter and Son' and shape numbers. Height 17.75cm (7in)
