Unusual Shelley Pottery 'Melody' Chintz Preserve Pot with Yellow Trim c1935

A lovely Shelley 'Melody' chintz pottery preserve jar and cover with the rarer yellow knob and trim. In great condition; no chips or cracks and only slight wear to the yellow rim where the lid sits. Still a superb item and becoming increasingly difficult to find. Green 'Shelley, England' and 'Melody' backstamps. Height with lid 10.5cm (4.1in)
