A rare item, this lovely dished plate has been very well restored at some point. Arcaded wares are very prone to damage, and although virtually undetectable, a section of the rim at the top has been repaired. There is also slight age related 'greying' and crazing of the glaze. Still a superb example of the 'Elephant' pattern which displays beautifully. Hand painted rim in dark cobalt blue. Impressed ROGERS. Diameter 19cm (7.5in)
