Beautifully and boldly painted with thickly applied enamels, this Cauldon Pottery coffee cup and saucer is in excellent condition. Stylised blue, red, yellow and purple flowers on a dense leafy background. Very bold for the period, anticipating later art deco designs. A lovely example of domestic art pottery design. Printed 'Cauldon, England'. Saucer diameter 12.5cm (4.9in)
