An unusual 'thorn' vase by Thomas Webb showing good colour and opalescence. The 'spines' aren't as pronounced as the usual thorn vases and the three applied 'leaf' feet have been drawn up and curled as an added decorative feature. It's a fine example of the glass maker's art. A rare example to find, especially in such good condition.
