A classic Susie Cooper design of simple dots, striped handles and lining in Blythe blue enamel. Made for John Lewis and Peter Jones department stores in the 1930s; a lovely clean set showing little sign of wear or use. Marked 'Polka Dot, England'. Diameter of plate 17.5cm (6.8in), saucer 14.7cm (5.75in)
