A classic Susie Cooper design of simple dots on a classic shape where the lid can also be used as a serving dish. Striped handles and lining in Blythe blue enamel. Made for John Lewis department store in the 1930s; a lovely clean item showing little sign of wear or use. Marked 'Polka Dots, John Lewis' and registration no. 781810. Length with handles 26cm (10.25in)
