Information
Another rare example of vaseline glass by the old Stourbridge firm of Richardson's. Beautifully worked in their horse chestnut leaf design with good opalescence, a hand crimped rim and polished pontil mark to the base. A very pretty piece and a fine example of glassmaking, involving a variety of techniques and processes. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs or water staining. Some minor inclusions typical of handmade glass, though nothing to detract. Height 8.25cm (3.25in), diameter 9cm (3.5in)
