Information
In 1931 Shelley briefly introduced a drinks set to augment the Vogue range designed by Eric Slater. A special Vogue shaped serving jug or pitcher was designed to go with six standard beakers. Four special patterns were produced and here is a fantastic jug enamelled with stylised apples (similar to patterns 11845/7). Complemented with green and orange on the handle, rim and spout. The flared foot rim is also banded in green. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks, wear or restoration. Has a fine 'ring' to it. A very rare survivor of this classic art deco shape. Printed Shelley mark with registration number 756533. Height 17.8cm (7in)
