A finely potted medium size ewer printed in medium blue with an unrecorded scene from Minton's 'English Scenery' series. A background of church and village moves through trees into a scene with a large house and gothic arches, the foreground with water and sailing boats typical of this series. In great condition, with only some very minor glaze rubbing to the spout rim. Ewers of this type are rare to find in such good order. Printed series mark with 'Semi China'. Height to handle 16.75cm (6.6in)
