A beautifully decorated small octagonal plate in the much sought after 'Orange Roof Cottage'. Expertly painted with lots of bold brush strokes. As with coasters and other small items, the paintress has omitted the cottage and used the bridge as the central motif. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and only a tiny scratch on the orange banding - hardly noticeable. Displays beautifully. Rare to find these pieces in such good order. Signed 'Bizarre by Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery' and impressed date for June 1932. Width 14.25cm (5.6in)
