A stunning daffodil shape preserve pot with finned lid, beautifully painted in 'Delecia Peaches'. A bold design of orange and yellow fruit set against green, black, yellow and tan 'delecia' runnings which work well on this classic art deco shape introduced in 1932. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration and showing little signs of wear. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Lithographed 'DELECIA, Hand Painted Bizarre by Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery, England' signature with Provisional Patent stamp. Height 12.5cm (4.9in)
