Superb Burleigh Ware Art Deco Butterfly Biscuit Jar c1930
A lovely Burleigh Ware biscuit jar with relief moulded blue flowers on a pale green and cream ground. The cover has a cluster of flowers and a butterfly finial in yellow. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration - looks as if it's had little use. Original wicker handle. A rare item to find, especially in such good order. Burleigh Ware beehive mark and painted pattern number 5535. Height with finial 17cm (6.7in)
