An unusual Staffordshire pottery pitcher showing a rural scene of fox hunting. Slightly crazed and stained to the inside, and a couple of chips around the spout; it's still a fantastic and substantial jug which displays very well. A rare early depiction of fox hunting. Unmarked Staffordshire. Height 14cm (5.5in)
