Information
An early 'imari' pattern (this one sometimes called the 'Bethesda' pattern) ironstone jug. Octagonal in shape with a dragon handle (in the style of Mason's 'Fenton shape'). In excellent condition for its age. There are some minor signs of wear (mentioned for accuracy) with some flaking of the green on the handle, but nothing major in the way of chips or cracks. All in all it's a beautiful jug with loads of character. Impressed mark 'Ironstone China'. Height 15.2cm (6in)
