A beautiful Spode Caramanian series oval drainer printed in medium blue with a view of the Castle of Boudron in the Gulf of Stancio. Framed by a narrow scroll border. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of use or wear. Rare to find in such good order. Fine blue pearlware glaze. Impressed Spode 8 with blue printed 'D' workman's mark. Width 37.5cm (14.75in)
