A superb Spode Caramanian series oval drainer printed in medium blue with a view of the Castle of Boudron in the Gulf of Stancio. Framed by a narrow scroll border. In good antique condition - no chips, cracks or restoration though there is some stained crazing on the reverse which doesn't come through to the front. Still rare to find in such good order. Lovely pearlware rippled glaze. Impressed Spode 8. Width 36.75cm (14.5in)
