A lovely Spode indented platter or soup tureen stand finely printed in medium blue featuring a view of Lucano near Rome with a herd of cattle being driven over the bridge. Framed by a border of wheat, grape vines and branches of olives on a line engraved ground. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and little sign of wear. Printed and impressed SPODE. Length 23.5cm (9.25in)
