Sowerby Turquoise Vitro-Porcelain Glass Posy Vase c1875

A lovely blue (called 'turquoise' in the pattern books) vitro-porcelain vase on three 'turned over' feet, a classic Sowerby shape. In excellent condition, it's a fine example of Victorian pressed glass, the moulding being particularly crisp on this one. Fully marked with Sowerby 'peacock' trademark and diamond registration.
