Sowerby Purple Malachite Slag Glass Posy Vase c1875

A lovely purple malachite vase on three 'turned over' feet, a classic Sowerby shape (1154 in the 1882 pattern book, page 1). In excellent condition, it's a fine example of Victorian pressed glass, the moulding being particularly crisp with lots of veining. Height 8cm (3.12in)
