A fine Sowerby purple malachite slag glass cauldron illustrated in their 1882 pattern book as a posy or spill vase. Lovely 'marbling' and colours. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or repairs. Sowerby peacock trademark to the base. Width with handles 10.2cm (4in)
