A striking Sowerby pierced basket weave plate in purple malachite. Produced in various colours, this is one of the best examples I've seen; the marbled effect being particularly well pronounced. Has the Sowerby peacock trademark to the reverse and is in excellent condition. Diameter 21.5cm (8.5in)
