Information

A lovely Spode indented plate printed in medium blue with a view of the bridge of Salaro and two fishermen with a net on the river bank. The border consists of wild flowers on a stippled ground. No foot rim and a fine rippled glaze. In good condition, though there is micro-crazing to the front and some deeper crazing to the reverse which doesn't go through (see image 5). Still displays beautifully and a great example of this classic old Spode pattern. Impressed SPODE 6, printed SPODE and workman's mark in blue. Diameter 24.75cm (9.75in)
