An original Soho Pottery Solian Ware 'Dolly Varden' wall pocket in the form of a straw hat with hand painted ribbons and flowers. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Often cheaper copies were made in chalk or plaster, but the original ceramic ones are quite difficult to find, especially in such good order. Printed Solian Ware mark. Height 18cm (7.1in)
