Small Carlton Ware Yellow 'Flowers and Basket' Posy Holder c1939

A lovely and difficult to find undamaged early Australian design. This is the smaller of the two sizes of basket shaped posy holder produced. In excellent condition and good colours nicely painted on a yellow ground with contrasting pale green interior. Carlton Ware at its best. Height 11.4cm (4.5in). Full Carlton Ware script mark.
