Small Carlton Ware Green 'Flowers and Basket' Posy Holder c1939

A lovely early Australian design. This basket shaped posy holder with handle is in excellent condition and good colours nicely painted on a green ground; rare to find without damage. Carlton Ware at its prettiest. Smaller of two sizes produced. Height 11.4cm (4.5in). Full Carlton Ware script mark and impressed shape number 1775.
