A lovely 'dahlia' butter dish and cover by Shorter and Son. Hand painted flowers in pink and yellow on a green ground. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Some mild age related crazing typical of these wares and nothing to detract. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Marked 'Shorter and Son'. Diameter of base 14.5cm (5.7in)
