An unusual Shorter covered butter dish in the very collectable 'Crinoline Lady' design. Nicely painted; a good example of this design. In great condition; some general micro-crazing consistent with age and this type of pottery, but nothing to detract from this lovely piece. Marked 'Shorter and Son, Made in Great Britain' and impressed 'Shorter, England'. Diameter at base 16cm (6.3in)
