Shelley Queen Anne 'Violets' Pattern 12114 Sugar Bowl c1932

A superb Shelley Queen Anne sugar bowl decorated with panels of delicately painted violets in blue, mauve, green and yellow - the alternating larger panels finely printed with poppies and the rim finished with green trim. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and little sign of wear. Lovely 'ring' to it. One of the rarer Queen Anne patterns to find, especially in such good order. Green Shelley mark with shape registration number and painted pattern number 12114. Height 6cm (2.3in), rim width 9.5cm (3.75in).
