An early Mabel Lucie Attwell tea cup and saucer depicting a thatched cottage with a little girl inviting two Boo Boos in for tea. 'If the fairies came to tea, How very jolly that would be. They'd say "Hullo", I'd say "Come in", And then the fun would all begin'. Both pieces in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and little sign of wear. Rare to find in such good order. Orange trim and Mabel Lucie Attwell signatures. Printed Shelley marks and Copyright Design. Diameter of saucer 14cm (5.5in)
