A precursor of the Queen Anne shape, these plates were used to accompany Lomond, Vincent and other 1920s tea cup shapes. A stylish design of a black urn or basket filled with enamelled fruit. There is a delicate inner border of enamelled leaves, and the rim has four enamelled sprigs of fruit. Yellow/orange enamel trim. In excellent condition. Green Shelley mark with painted pattern number 11584. Width 14cm (5.5in)
