Shelley Hilda Cowham 'A good little girl' Nursery Ware Plate c1925

A lovely Hilda Cowham child's plate designed for Shelley. Printed and hand enamelled with a little girl feeding chickens, the border with roosters, hens and chicks. Hand painted green trim. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks, restoration. Rare to find, especially in such good order. Signed 'Hilda Cowham' with 'Shelley China, England' and registration number 709688 (the first series of her designs introduced in 1924). Diameter 15cm (6in)
