Information
Superb Murray's Caledonian Pottery (Glasgow) copper lustre teapot with an eagle perched on the handle. Painted with a band of stylised flowers and leaves. In excellent condition, looks like it's never been used. Teapots are rare; even rarer to find without chips and cracks. Never marked, but a well documented Murray shape (see 'Scottish Ceramics' by Henry E. Kelly). This is the smallest and rarest size. Height 12.75cm (5in), length 19.5cm (7.6in)
