An early 1930s racing car teapot by Sadler with the logo OKT42 on the front and back number plates. This example is in bright yellow (one of the original colours produced) with full platinum trim. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration and only minor age related rubbing to the trim around the rim and lid - nothing really, displays beautifully. Getting rarer to find in such good order. Impressed marks, Made in England and the Registered Design number 820236. (No printed Sadler mark which only occurs on the later post war versions). Length 23cm (9in)
