Rustic Victorian Majolica Floral Design Jug or Pitcher c1880

A bold and rustic majolica pitcher with boldly painted panels of flowers and leaves. Colourful splashes of red, olive and turquoise with a deep pink interior. Great condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Glaze crazing to the interior and general kiln effects give this jug charming character. Unmarked though possibly Shorter and Boulton. Height 16cm (6.25in)
