A lovely 8.5" rack plate with one of the ten known scenes from 'Zunday Zmocks' designed by Charles Noke. Two old chaps in stovepipe hats and best smocks are smiling from behind a wall, with a tree and hollyhocks in the background. An image with great charm and humour. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. A rare size to find, especially in such good order. Noke signature. Printed Royal Doulton marks, Australian design registration number and impressed date for September 1936. Diameter 21.6cm (8.5in)
