A lovely little Royal Doulton octagon shape 'Pansies' sugar bowl, the size used for a coffee or tea for two set. Beautifully painted and in good antique condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Fine age related crazing which is often the case with these wares, though nothing to detract from the look of this rare item. Royal Doulton backstamp with registration number 597783 and painted series number D4049.
