A superb small rack plate with six gnomes among the roots of a tree behind mushrooms (scene 4 of 5 known scenes). In excellent condition; no chips, cracks, restoration or crazing and all of the gold overlaid cobwebs, plants and stars are intact. A fine example that displays beautifully. Rare to find in such good order. Noke signature to the front. Printed Royal Doulton mark with painted reference D4697 and impressed date for 1928. Diameter 16cm (6.3in)
