A superb Royal Doulton 'finned' art deco vase with a floral design by Frank Brangwyn, RA. Thickly painted enamel flowers in yellow, blue and red with green leaves and stems on a mottled salmon pink ground. One of the best pieces of Brangwyn Ware I've seen in quite a while. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. The usual fine crazing typical of these wares, but nothing to detract. Displays beautifully. A very rare find, especially in such good order. Printed Royal Doulton, England with painted series number D5162. Height 16.25cm (6.4in)
